Track-d Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect and Store

The Track-d application requires the collection and storage of user-generated data to provide its core service (time tracking and reporting). The following data is collected and stored:

• Time Tracking Activity: This includes track names, weather description, and the start, stop, and duration of recorded time entries.
• User Identifier: A unique, non-personal user ID is generated when you first use the app. This ID is used exclusively to link your time tracking data to your device and maintain the integrity of your records.

2. How Data is Used and Stored

Your time tracking activity and unique user identifier are stored in a third party cloud database provided by Google. This data is used solely to:

• Synchronize your data across multiple devices.
• Allow you to retrieve your historical time tracking records.
• Temporary Local Storage: If cloud services are unavailable, session data is stored locally on your device for temporary buffering. This data is automatically deleted from your device immediately after it has been successfully synchronized to our third-party cloud database
• Local data used to get weather information. Weather symbol is stored against session to represent the conditions during your session recording

We do not use this data for marketing, advertising, or profiling purposes.

3. No Third-Party Analytics

We do not utilize any third-party analytics services (such as Google Analytics) to track general app usage, behavior, or performance metrics. Data collected is limited to the functional data described above.

4. Information Collected via Support

If you contact us for support using the web form provided on our support page, the information you voluntarily submit (your name, email address, and message details) will be used solely for the purpose of responding to your inquiry. This communication is conducted via standard email and is not stored in any application database.

5. Children’s Privacy

Our services are not intended for, and do not knowingly address, anyone under the age of 16.

7. User Data Deletion and Account Deactivation

You can deactivate your account and request the deletion of all your associated data at any time through the settings menu within the Track-d application.

• When you choose to deactivate your account, your unique user identifier and all associated time tracking activity (as described in Section 1) will be permanently and securely deleted from our third-party cloud database.
• This deletion process will be completed as soon as requested.
• Once your account and data are deleted, they cannot be recovered.
